The calculator counts whole years, months and days between the two dates. It also shows the total number of days and the weeks and days.
Formula used
Total days = (end date − start date) ÷ 86,400,000 ms
Example
From 1 January 2026 to 1 March 2026 is 59 days, or 2 months.

Is the end date counted?
The result is the elapsed time between the two dates, not inclusive of both.
Does the order matter?
No. The calculator swaps them if needed.
