Turn points earned into a percentage and letter grade.
How the calculation works
Divide your points by the total possible points and multiply by 100. The letter uses a common scale: A 90+, B 80+, C 70+, D 60+, otherwise F.
Formula used
Percentage = points earned ÷ total points × 100
Example
45 out of 50 points is 90%, which is an A.

Is the grading scale universal?
No. Schools differ, so check your own scale.
Can I use extra credit?
Yes. Points earned can exceed the total.
