How the calculation works
Each grade is converted to grade points and weighted by credit hours. The GPA is total quality points divided by total credits. Leave a course blank to skip it.
Formula used
GPA = Σ(grade points × credits) ÷ Σ(credits)
Example
An A (4.0), a B+ (3.3) and an A- (3.7), each 3 credits, give a GPA of 3.67.

Does it use a 4.0 scale?
Yes, the standard unweighted US scale.
